The first time I saw these prints at 37 minutes past twelve in the early hours of the morning, I was so compelled to write about them. For me, they are astounding pieces of art from John Bathgate.
Applecross is a solace of blue. Calming – I am transfixed by it’s appearance. Peat Hag, colours hot and fiery – a seductive opposite. I should extend a wall in the Attic to admire them on a daily basis ! Although art has many a meaning to the voyeur, join me and share in the emotive view.
