We took a trip to Greenock to see the Tall Ships. It’s been over ten years since the last time the Tall Ships race came to Inverclyde. What a glorious day and plenty of opportunities to see, try, taste and hear, ships, rides, food and music. All be it uneven underfoot.
It was also very interesting to get to see the inside of the old Sugar sheds next to the James Watt Dock. For the Tall Ships event the sheds housed the marina offices, entertainment area, bar and craft fair. Personally, I loved the rawness of the interior, even thought it has been derelict for so long and been ravished by fire in the past.
