I’ve already posted about this painting by John Bathgate. Coigach is a part of Scotland I have not yet visited but I have fallen in love with – partly due to this scene. So I have decided to make sure I actually get walking in the Northwest Highlands sometime soon ! There is an hour walk to Polglass beach and broch, and the headland Rubha Dunan, which I hear is perfect for watching the sunset over Horse Island. I also like the sound of Polbain, Achiltibuie, and Badenscallie, hamlet havens where you can unwind and relax !
