NEW! Small Mounted Prints

Really excited about these NEW! little ¬†mounted prints. They won’t break the bank, look great on your wall or to give as a gift. I’m so chuffed with them that I’ve most likely posted this post far to soon – as we haven’t got them all online yet (Cheeky I know!).

These little gems of a mounted print come sealed inside a cello bag with an artist biography sheet. They are digitally printed and have a double-thick mount in an off white colour surround. They look and feel brilliant. The mounts are high quality conservation board and just add that wow! to the small prints.

What’s also so great about these little guys is that they¬†fit into a standard 10″ x 10″ frame or 10″ x 8″ frame.

They are great to give as a gift and fit easily into your suitcase to take as a souvenir to family and friends at a wedding or abroad.

Spring is in the air

Looking toward Greenock

Yesterday was a truly lovely day, so much so that as the working day finished and twilight beckoned, I decided to enjoy the remains of the day with a delightful coastal walk.

It may seem strange that working near the seashore you take your window vista with a pinch of salt (yep-it’s there every morning I wake too), but I was astounded by the beauty of the day.

Perhaps, as there wasn’t snow, wind or rain (no jacket required), it was milder than it has been in weeks, meant I didn’t want to miss out enjoying the day so, off I went with a spring in my step and Spring in the air!

As you can see, my route took me from sunshine to twilight, just look at the remarkable shades of colour and light.

Clyde Coast

From bright blues, to haze, oranges, gold’s to yellow and dusk – many of the colours our artists have included in these Spring inspired art and gifts.

Spring is here – beautiful art from Georgina McMaster, Colin Robertson, Judith I. Bridgland, Kate Philp, Jolomo and Ingrid Nilsson.

If you’re a fan of Sir Walter Scott novels or an Arbroath Smokie, then this art print – Auchmithies Last Stand by Douglas Roulston is right up your street! The cliff-top, former fishing village is on the East coast of Scotland, about three miles north east of Arbroath. The derelict harbour in this scene, was once home to many fishing boats in the 1800’s.

Auchmithie became famous for the origin of the Smokie – a gutterd Haddock sold in pairs and smoked in pits buried in the ground – the term is now protected by EU Law to say that if the Smokie is made out-with 8km of the Arbroath Town House, then it isn’t an Arbroath Smokie!

With over 20 designs to choose from, you know you’ll find a card with pedigree. These canine portraits are a great choice to send as a greeting. Bonnie Prince Westie and Pug with a Pearl Earring just make me smile.

Love them or loath them, you’ve got to hand it to David in creating a modern twist with an old master!

David’s art cards are reproduced from the original image using high quality digital printing on to beautifully smooth, heavyweight card stock using the full colour process. The cards are then machine cut and hand folded and packaged inside a cello bag with an envelope, to make sure it arrives with you in tip top condition. The inside of the card is blank for you to personalise with your message.
